Her poetry chapbook, The Only Animal Awake in the House, was published by Moonstone Press in 2021.

Her poetry and fiction have appeared in various literary journals, including Hayden’s Ferry Review, Hunger Mountain, and Necessary Fiction. She holds an MA from University College London.

Kristen has over 20 years of experience as an editor of fiction and nonfiction.

She lives in the Hudson Valley region of New York State with her husband, two sons, two dogs, and a cat.
